Prerequisite: Beginners I or equivalent knowledge. This class is a continuation of Beginners I and is designed for students with some knowledge of the language. Course will focus on elements of grammar, building vocabulary, pronunciation, listening comprehension, and reading and writing. Required Text: Short Stories in German (for beginners) by Olly Richards and Alex Rawlings. ISBN 9781473683372 Ages 18+ See video for more information.

Marian Graham

Marian Graham has a wide variety of experiences with both German language and culture.  She holds a master's degree in German from the University of Maryland, College Park, and has worked as a teacher and translator both in the United States and Germany.  She returns to Germany summers for professional development, in order to keep her hand on the pulse of German language and culture.  She has lived in Arlington for many years and is a native of the New York metropolitan area.
