Take your genealogical research to the next level by incorporating DNA analysis. DNA is upending the genealogical world, but while millions of people have taken DNA tests, most do not know how to fully leverage the results. This intermediate level class gives students the tools they need to make DNA work for them in their genealogical research. We start by helping students understand the various DNA tests available and identify cases in which each could be useful. We then cover getting organized, setting DNA research objectives, and creating research plans before launching into analyzing information and leveraging online genetic genealogy tools to extract insight from networks of DNA relationships.
