Course Description

Put aside the notions that Greek is a hard language and come to learn just how easy it can be! You will study the fundamentals of both classical and koine (New Testament) Greek and develop your reading comprehension. This course prepares students to read Plato, Greek tragedy, Homer, and other Greek literary, historical, and philosophical texts in the original. Special emphasis will be given to the study of grammar, vocabulary, and the structure of the language. Textbook: Greek: An Intensive Course, 2nd Revised Edition, ISBN-10: 0823216632
