Welcome to my Russian Intermediate class! This course is designed for students who have a basic understanding of Russian and are already able to use the language in standard daily life and work situations. Participants should be familiar with the main points of clear, standard input on familiar matters encountered in work, school, leisure, and more.
I have curated two excellent textbooks to enhance your learning experience: "Russian in Exercises" ISBN: 9785883371553; "Sensational Story" - ISBN: 9781481216210. Additionally, we will be using the "Russian Step by Step Verbs of Motion" Workbook 1 - ISBN: 978148394314.
Throughout the course, I will guide you through challenging exercises and facilitate engaging discussions to further sharpen your language skills. We strive to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment that will boost your confidence as a Russian speaker. Ages 18+

I am a highly experienced Ukrainian and Russian native-speaking educator with a 30-year teaching background in schools across Ukraine and Russia. Holding a Master's Degree in teaching from the prestigious Kiev State Pedagogical Institute for Foreign Languages, I currently teach Ukrainian and Russian languages at Arlington Community Learning and DLS (Diplomatic Language Services) in DC.
My passion for teaching is unwavering, and my dedication to my students is evident in the lasting relationships I build with them. Over the years, I have developed my own proven program, crafting informative and engaging lessons that captivate my students' interest.
