Prerequisite: Beginners 2 or equivalent knowledge. A continuation of Beginners 2. This course is designed to expand grammar and vocabulary. Class focus on developing conversation skills through oral and written exercises on a variety of topics. Ages 18+

Hwa Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea. She majored in English Language and Literature at Seoul National University and received master's degree of Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut. She taught Korean Language to the foreign students enrolled in Seoul National University for 20 years. She participated in writing Korean textbooks for levels 1 through 6 to be used by many university-level Korean Language programs over the world. The series of short-term (60 hours) Korean textbooks, I Love Korean developed by SNU Language Education Center is used for Korean - Beginning 1& 2 at Arlington Community Learning. She loves to teach the Korean language which has become widely popular with the Korean Wave.
