The Arlington Flute Ensemble is a class designed for adult amateur flutists. It is comprised of C flutes however any additional auxiliary flutes such as piccolo, alto flute, bass flute and contrabass flute are also encouraged to join. The focus will be on reading and rehearsing mainstream flute choir repertoire consisting of past and current original compositions and arrangements of classical, jazz and pop styles. Performance opportunities will include community concert series and flute choir festivals such as the annual Flute Society of Washington, Inc. Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention's Flute Choir Showcase.
Currently, fully vaccinated individuals and the active use of flute masks are required to participate.
