Prerequisite: Prior participation in Introduction to Woodworking and Cabinetmaking (TI-302) is mandatory. This course allows you to continue where you left off in the introduction class. You will use of the fully equipped shop to construct items of personal interest and improve your woodworking skills. Emphasis is on advanced techniques such as veneering, millwork, lathe turning, and joinery. You supply the lumber and materials for your personal projects. Some storage is available. Taught in Wood Shop.

Dave Daly

Daly, Dave Dave Daly has been the building trades instructor for Alexandria City Schools since 1975. He received his BS in Education and a Master's in Vocational Education. Dave worked as a home improvement contractor in Chicago and Northern Virginia from 1971-1979.
